Before leaving Perthshire for the long drive home, we stopped off at Reekie Linn – a lovely waterfall in a deep gorge. The walk in was very short, but a tad slippy so you need to keep your wits about you – a fall could make life ‘interesting’ to say the least. Don’t try and sneak a peak before you’ve reached the end of the path either – the best views really are saved until last, and you risk taking a tumble if you try and walk too close to the edge. We had the falls to ourselves, and the car park next to the Bridge of Craigisla was empty. Definitely worth stopping for though, and there are picnic benches right next to the river at the car park end so that you can linger a while longer.
